San Jose Earthquakes vs Toronto FC - Feb. 29

The San Jose Earthquakes enjoyed a retro type of night as they brought back their 'never say die' attitude of years past.  Going into the game, we knew that the arrival of ex Chiva's defender Oswaldo Alanís was going to do wonders for the Earthquakes backline, and not only did he add consistency and experience, but he also led a hand to the offense.   Alanis scored a stunner in the final seconds of the game as he helped earn a point in their draw.  Alanis is an experienced and intelligent player, and he gives the Quakes a left-footed center back, which will pay high dividends as the season progresses.

The stadium experience was mediocre for me, especially because they were not taking any credit cards as their POS systems went down.  Could it have been a trojan left behind by Avaya as the sponsorship ended?
