The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) reminds media that the 2018 edition of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League will kick off this evening and continue through April. It features the newly introduced, action-packed, home-and-away knockout format.

The competition starts with Round of 16 play in Central America as CS Herediano (CRC) hosts Tigres UANL (MEX) at 8:00 PM ET. Later (10:00 PM ET), 2017 Canadian Championship and MLS Cup champion Toronto FC (CAN) will visit fellow MLS side Colorado Rapids (USA). These pairings are the first of eight scheduled for this week as games are disputed throughout the entire Confederation.
